Points will be awarded for the Top 12 finishers in a race, as follows –

Points will be awarded for the Top 12 finishers in a race, as follows –
1 point will be awarded for fastest lap if the fastest lap was set by a driver in the Top 12 of the classification.
1 point will be awarded for the driver who starts the race in Pole position. If the driver coming first in qualifying gets a grid penalty, they can have their pole point reinstated if their penalty was unjust.
A driver must be classified (i.e. not DNF) to score points in the race or sprint. The pole position point will stay even if the driver DNFs.
Any ties in any championship are broken using the countback system used in Formula 1.
