Penalty points are given to drivers when they are involved in incidents and break the rules.
Track repeated rule breaches and the racing restrictions they trigger.

If you reach 12 penalty points, you will receive a race ban.

If you reach 15 penalty points, you will be banned from reserving.

If you reach 18 penalty points, you will receive another race ban.

If you reach 24 penalty points, you will receive an indefinite league racing ban. You will only be allowed to race once the FIA deems you fit to race.

Penalty points are accumulated by drivers in any division; there is no separate tally. A driver with 6pp in D1, and 6pp in D2, will receive a race ban for reaching 12pp.

The stewards reserve the right to ban someone before they reach 24 penalty points if there is a unanimous consensus by all active stewards.

If a driver accumulates 6pp or more in a season, they will carry some of their penalty points over to the next season.
