Setting up for this circuit
Albert Park rewards a car that changes direction cleanly without becoming nervous through the fast middle of the lap. Keep the rear settled through the quick chicane, then judge traction again at the slower final corners.
- Use the fast left-right at Turns 9–10 to compare high-speed balance; extra steering correction can spoil both corners.
- Check braking and rotation separately at Turn 3, where a tidy approach gives a clearer comparison than a late-braking rescue.
- Keep enough compliance to use your normal kerb line without the car bouncing off it.
Qualifying adjustments
On low fuel, check whether a front-wing adjustment helps the quick direction change without making the final-sector exits harder to repeat.
