Setting up for this circuit
Austria in reverse changes which gradients you brake on and which corners feed the longest acceleration. Start with the reverse-layout setup and rebuild the braking references before comparing it with a normal-direction favourite.
- Compare the reversed fast section with its new approach speeds rather than reusing the normal lap’s braking points.
- Check the hairpin’s braking gradient and exit as a new sequence.
- Judge each straight from the corner that now feeds it; the important traction zones have moved.
Qualifying adjustments
Establish clean reverse-layout braking references first, then compare low-fuel rotation without borrowing normal-direction corner assumptions.
