Shanghai’s tightening opening complex puts sustained load through the front, while the back straight makes the final hairpin exit valuable. Choose a compromise that turns patiently through the long corners without becoming loose on power.
- Track whether the front begins to wash wide as Turns 1–2 tighten.
- Check traction from Turn 13 as part of the entire back-straight comparison.
- Compare heavy braking at Turn 14 with the same energy use and approach speed.
Qualifying adjustments
Check a low-fuel balance change through the tightening first complex and Turn 13 exit before crediting a higher back-straight speed.
