Setting up for this circuit
Las Vegas puts long straights between slow corners, so braking confidence and clean exits need to survive the search for lower drag. Treat grip on your prepared tyres as part of the comparison rather than assuming every attempt starts alike.
- Use the heavy braking at the end of the Strip to compare stability with the same approach.
- Check how readily the car puts power down from the slower right-angle corners.
- Separate a poor preparation lap from a balance problem before changing the suspension or pressures.
Qualifying adjustments
Repeat the tyre preparation and battery plan before judging a low-fuel adjustment; otherwise the Strip can make two similar setups look very different.
