Setting up for this circuit
Monaco gives placement, slow-corner rotation and traction priority over straight-line speed. Choose a balance you can repeat near the barriers, with enough compliance to use your line without being thrown away from it.
- Compare brake release into Sainte Dévote and Mirabeau before chasing more front response everywhere.
- Check the hairpin and Portier for slow-speed rotation and traction.
- Use the Swimming Pool sequence to make sure a more compliant option still changes direction cleanly.
Qualifying adjustments
Keep the qualifying balance precise enough for the Swimming Pool but forgiving enough to repeat Portier and the final-corner exits.
