Setting up for this circuit
Reverse Silverstone keeps the fast changes of direction but reverses the order in which they load the car. Judge the reversed Becketts–Maggotts sequence from its new entry and give the slower complexes fresh braking references.
- Compare the complete reversed fast sequence; a different first corner changes the line you carry into the next.
- Check the approach to the reversed Stowe section rather than expecting the normal lap’s balance to transfer.
- Reassess which slow exits feed a long acceleration before choosing reduced drag.
Qualifying adjustments
A front-wing change needs a full low-fuel lap in this direction: the normal Silverstone sequence cannot establish the reverse layout’s balance.
