Alpine topped Abu Dhabi's combined BOTT standings with 54 points from four starts. Williams scored 43 and Haas 41, giving Alpine an 11-point win over the round.
Yvngeze5654 won D2 from fourth on the grid, the team's only podium. Alpine nevertheless placed three of its four starters in the top five, turning one victory into the weekend's deepest leading score.
Thirty-five D2 points move Alpine into second
Alpine entered Abu Dhabi third in the D2 constructors' standings on 59 points. Its 35-point round raised the total to 94 and moved the team ahead of the previous second-place entry.
McLaren remained first on 115 but scored zero in the current round. The gap to Alpine contracted from 56 points to 21 without McLaren surrendering the lead.
A winner and two quieter top fives build the total
The countback recorded one win, one podium and three top-five finishes. That arithmetic makes Alpine's 54 more than a renamed Yvngeze victory: two additional top-five results supplied the supporting structure.
Spa followed with McLaren still ahead and Alpine newly established as its nearest D2 challenger. Abu Dhabi did not complete the pursuit; it made the distance look traversable.
