Season 1 has no recorded Team Principal line-up. The IMS tenure table contains no assignments effective at the opening round, placing the founding championship before the documented TP system.
That does not remove teams from the season; it limits what the archive can call their leadership structure. A constructor entry is not evidence that a later principal already held the role.
No assignment means no retrospective promotion
The tempting shortcut would be to take familiar names from subsequent seasons and install them at Brazil. It would also be wrong. The recorded chronology starts after Season 1, and the opening guide must respect that boundary.
The proper Season 1 wording is therefore deliberately plain: pre-TP era. It describes the available record without implying that nobody organised a team or that an undocumented title existed under another name.
The sporting launch still spans eight rounds
Brazil opens an eight-event F1 24 calendar that later expands to D3. Those sporting facts remain fully available even when the management layer familiar from later IMS seasons is absent.
Season 1 will establish winners, standings and an internal history of its own. It will not establish a TP roster that the source table does not contain. Sometimes the cleanest archive work is knowing which chair must remain empty.
