A winner without points leadChampionship

Jonno wins Bahrain, yet Sintium leaves level at the top of E1

The first E1 race produced a Williams victory, a 33-all drivers' table and an Alpine constructors' lead—three different readings of the same podium.

Jonno won the Bahrain E1 opener from second on the grid, with Sintium climbing from third to finish runner-up. When the points were counted, both drivers stood on 33.

That made the opening table more interesting than the finishing order alone. Jonno owned the victory; Sintium owned an equal championship total. Triske043, who slipped from pole to third for Haas, completed the podium.

The team column tells a third story

Alpine led the E1 constructors' standings on 55 points, 22 clear of Williams. Sintium's second place was therefore backed by enough additional team scoring to outweigh Jonno's win in the parallel contest.

One event had consequently produced no single dominant verdict. Williams had the race winner, Jonno and Sintium shared the drivers' summit, and Alpine held the constructors' advantage.

A clean slate becomes a split decision

Opening rounds often create false certainty because every number is new. Bahrain resisted that temptation: equal driver points ensured Monza would begin with the lead available to whichever of Jonno or Sintium scored better.

The useful benchmark was not merely who crossed the line first. It was the tension between three leaderboards, all produced by one race and all pointing in slightly different directions.
