Season 5 crowned Sammy278, Aban-96-, NesbiLeGrand, Sintium, Rizla and geo2002 across six drivers' championships, while Ferrari secured BOTT after leading all 11 rounds. Some tables changed hands repeatedly; others had acquired a fixed centre of gravity before halfway.
The season deserves to be read in motion. Final totals identify who finished first; the rounds explain who had to answer a defeat, who survived a closing rival and who spent the year making pursuit feel theoretical.
Bahrain lights six separate fuses
Marcel Papst, WSL Klunkyboi, NesbiLeGrand, Jonno, LimitlessDraco3 and geo2002 supplied the opening winners. Ferrari paired three of those victories with a 289-point BOTT round, taking a 64-point lead over VCARB at the first count.
Even the opening tables disagreed about what kind of season was coming. Jonno and Sintium were level in E1; Rizla led E2 by two without winning its race; NesbiLeGrand already owned nine points of D3 breathing room.
Monza overturned four of the six opening leaders. Darth Ussh moved first in D1, Sintium built 31 points of E1 space, BBLDRiZZY6523 took E2 and NesbiLeGrand displaced geo2002 in E3; only D2 and D3 retained their Bahrain leaders.
Singapore gave Sammy278 a D1 win, LimitlessDraco3 D2 and BBLDRiZZY6523 E2. Yet the championship picture was less democratic: Darth Ussh, WSL Klunkyboi, Sintium and BBL all retained first place, while NesbiLeGrand led both D3 and E3.
Texas rewards new winners and rearranges the chase
Tratracer23, legham777 and MacoDelVolante took their first IMS victories in the Texas D1, D2 and E1 races. NesbiLeGrand and geo2002 won their respective classifications, keeping the two-way D3-E3 struggle between them alive in very different forms.
Aban-96- left Texas first in D2 on 62 points, six ahead of WSL Klunkyboi. E2 remained with BBLDRiZZY6523, but Rizla had reduced the gap to four; a change of leader in both contests was now close enough to name.
Mexico delivered both changes in emphasis. Tofo17 won D2 while Aban kept first; Concept_17 won E2 while Rizla retook its lead. In D1, Sammy278 drew level with Darth Ussh on 83, turning the championship into a countback argument.
The same round exposed the season's widening side. NesbiLeGrand led D3 by 49 and geo2002 led E3 by 25. Ferrari crossed 1,000 BOTT points, exactly 400 clear of Williams.
Silverstone turns E1 upside down
FatCatBatMan465, Kinay, OGxFREED, Jonno, LimitlessDraco3 and Jtuzy shared the Silverstone wins. The most consequential movement happened without an E1 victory: Triske043 climbed to 100 points as Sintium remained on 98, reversing a 22-point deficit in one round.
Sammy emerged 14 clear in D1 and Aban 19 clear in D2. NesbiLeGrand's D3 lead reached 57; geo2002's E3 advantage reached 41. The season was simultaneously tightening, clarifying and running away.
Brazil and Las Vegas change the nearest pursuers
Brazil restored Sintium to the E1 lead and reduced Aban's D2 margin to eight over PerfectPaulie88, the race winner. FatCat won D1 but remained 29 behind Sammy; geo2002's E3 victory pushed that lead to 80.
Las Vegas then removed Aban from first place. PerfectPaulie88 led D2 by 11, while MacoDelVolante's D1 victory reduced Sammy's nearest advantage to 21. Rizla, by contrast, expanded E2 to 48 points.
Qatar restores Aban; Abu Dhabi sets the finale
Aban answered Las Vegas with a Qatar win from P17, retaking D2 on 138 points. Jonno won D1 and FatCat moved back into second, but Sammy still held 24; Sintium and Rizla carried 14- and 44-point leads respectively.
Abu Dhabi strengthened the two recoveries that mattered most. Jonno won D1 again and closed to 16 points; Aban won D2 and stretched his restored lead to 42. Sintium's E1 cushion grew to 27 before Spa.
Spa gives the season six endings
FatCat won both D1 and E1 at Spa, the latter by 0.081 seconds, yet Sammy278 and Sintium retained first in the final drivers' tables. Aban, NesbiLeGrand, Rizla and geo2002 completed the other four leading totals.
The constructors produced one last sting: Mercedes finished E2 on 224 points, one ahead of Aston Martin. Ferrari had led BOTT after every round and closed on 1,921, while Williams' final-round victory left it second overall on 1,528.
