HPJones won the Austria D1 race from fourth on the grid, while MacoDelVolante retained the championship lead on 41 points.

MagMagnussen's 38-point total reduced Maco's advantage from eight after Texas to three after Austria. The race winner altered the round; the leading pair altered the pressure.

HPJones finds three places from P4

HPJones moved from fourth to first for Williams. XAQxFr advanced from seventh to second for Ferrari, and Darth Ussh completed the recorded podium from second on the grid.

The result contributed to Williams' round-leading 129 BOTT points, a total built from three wins and four podiums across ten starts.

Aston Martin passes Red Bull in the team table

Aston Martin left Austria first in the D1 constructors on 60 points, eight ahead of Red Bull. The two teams had occupied the opposite order after Texas.

D1 therefore leaves Austria with three live layers: HPJones has the newest win, MacoDelVolante has a three-point driver lead, and Aston Martin has an eight-point team lead. Great Britain gets all three, conveniently without needing to pretend they are one story.
