Williams won three of Austria's five divisions and scored 129 BOTT points, the highest total of Round 2. That reduced the championship picture to Red Bull on 261 and Williams on 249.
Three wins in one team round matched the third-highest total in the IMS comparison through Season 7 Round 2. Only Ferrari at the Season 3 Mystery Race and McLaren at Season 6 China had reached four.
Different grid slots, identical reward
HPJones won D1 from fourth on the grid, kyotonic converted second on the D2 grid into victory, and JDJT3593 recovered from sixth to win D4. Williams did not need one repeated template to score heavily.
The round table put Aston Martin second on 115 and Red Bull third on 94. Williams gained 35 points on Red Bull across the event, although the opener's deficit meant the championship lead remained elsewhere.
The benchmark has company, not an equal
The historical table explains the scale without pretending all three-win rounds were identical. Williams paired 129 points with four podiums; Ferrari's Season 2 Imola entry carried 178 points, while Red Bull's Season 2 Texas effort had 164.
Austria changed the early argument from whether Red Bull could be caught to how quickly. Twelve points after two rounds is less a cushion than a loose coin rattling around the cockpit.
