Williams scored 185 BOTT points in Australia with two wins, seven podiums and seven top-five finishes from ten starts. The team beat Aston Martin by 67 points in the round table.
PolyTromp won D1 from pole and Higosh did the same in D4. Those victories accounted for the obvious 62 points; the scale of the round came from how little empty space Williams left beneath them.
A podium in four separate divisions
Demaiko finished second in D0. PolyTromp and Webbah87 locked out the first two places in D1, Webbah87 also finished second in D2, and Trident65 took second in D3. Higosh won D4 while JDJT3593 recovered from 16th to third.
Seven podiums from ten starts meant Williams reached the top three in 70 per cent of its entries. The same seven also filled its top-five count, leaving only three starts outside that bracket.
The BOTT lead passes 300 points
After Australia, Williams led BOTT on 851 points. Red Bull held second on 544 and Aston Martin sat three points farther back on 541, leaving Williams 307 clear of its nearest rival.
Australia was not a story of one driver rescuing a team score. It was the opposite: so many Williams results landed near the front that choosing the headline act became the only difficult part.
