Higosh won the Australian D4 race from pole for Williams and moved into the championship lead on 110 points.
JDJT3593, the leader entering Round 6, finished third after starting 16th. Nineteen points took the Williams driver to 108, leaving only two between the team-mates.

Higosh stayed first from grid to flag; McBeth655 stayed second. JDJT supplied the contrast by gaining 13 positions, a recovery that preserved the title contest even as the lead changed hands.
Before Australia, JDJT had 89 points to Higosh's 79. Higosh added 31 and JDJT 19, transforming a ten-point deficit into a two-point advantage.
Williams leaves with both sides of the contest
Higosh and JDJT were separated by two points and shared the same team. Australia therefore sharpened an internal Williams title fight even as both drivers contributed podium results to the constructor.
The headline belongs to Higosh, but the small print keeps the championship alive. Pole and victory changed the leader; a 13-place charge ensured the previous leader did not disappear from view.
