JarvisInitiate won Imola's D3 race from P2 and took 24 points out of JDJT3593's championship advantage. JDJT still led on 121, but Jarvis closed to 102.

McLaren simultaneously took the constructors' lead on 157 points, 11 ahead of Williams. jak75421 finished second from pole and zoolander83 third from P5.

Nineteen replaces forty-three

JDJT had led by 43 after Baku. Imola reduced that cushion to 19, turning the same championship from broad control into a gap smaller than one maximum race score.

The team table went further and changed leader. Jarvis' McLaren moved ahead of Williams, aligning the winning driver with the leading constructor even though JDJT retained the individual top spot.

One classification, two degrees of takeover

McLaren completed the constructor change; Jarvis did not complete the driver change. The distinction made Imola's D3 result more interesting than a blanket claim that everything had turned.

Canada was next with JDJT defending 19 points and Williams chasing 11. Imola had made both contests live, but in different directions.
