Cloud won the Australian D0 race from pole for Mercedes and collected 32 points, taking the championship total to 152.

Karl Verghese remained second in the standings on 71 points. The gap after six rounds was 81, the largest number in the D0 headline even before the podium was unpacked.

One lap lead, two expanding margins

Cloud's grid and finishing positions were identical. Demaiko supplied the podium's principal recovery, moving from fifth to second for Williams, while Adrian Andrasov held third from third for Aston Martin.

Mercedes also led the D0 constructors on 203 points, 70 ahead of Williams on 133. Cloud's maximum and demaiko's second place thus strengthened different teams in the two tables.

The margin grows at both levels

Cloud's lead rose from 62 to 81 points, while Mercedes' constructor advantage reached 70. The same victory strengthened both campaigns, but demaiko's runner-up points helped Williams limit the team-table damage.

Australia required no invented flourish: pole became victory, 32 points became an 81-point advantage, and the championship leader made the shortest possible trip through the classification.
