Four podiums outweigh one victory
Aston Martin's round depended on depth around its single win. Three additional podiums and one more top-five result gave the team enough density to lead the weekend.
Ferrari remains first overall on 917 points, Williams second on 896 and VCARB third on 839. Aston Martin's round win does not place it in the listed season top three.
A different winner complicates the team picture
The BOTT round has now moved from Ferrari to Aston Martin while the season lead stays with Ferrari. Australia broadens the number of teams capable of controlling a weekend.
That makes the 137 more than a standalone score: it is proof that one win, supported properly across six divisions, can defeat teams with stronger cumulative positions.
