piastrigoat won Imola D1 from pole to claim a first IMS victory. Wadz51 finished second from third and tofo17 completed the podium after starting seventh.
The pole conversion supplied 32 points and placed piastrigoat first in the D1 standings. Wadz also reached 32 after adding 24 to the eight carried from Silverstone.
First and second share 32 points
The supplied table listed piastrigoat first and Wadz second with a zero-point gap. The race order therefore became the championship order without creating numerical separation.
A first win is usually presented as arrival; this one also created immediate company. Piastrigoat left Imola on top, but his Ferrari team-mate left on precisely the same total.
Ferrari leads Red Bull by two
The one-two moved Ferrari to 69 D1 constructor points, two ahead of Red Bull. Driver parity and team control emerged from the same 56-point classification.
Canada came next with piastrigoat as a race winner and listed championship leader, neither distinction carrying a points cushion over Wadz. Imola had delivered the milestone and withheld the comfort.
