Ferrari took the D1 constructors' lead at Imola after piastrigoat won from pole and Wadz51 climbed from third to second. The pair supplied 56 points in the division.

Tofo17 completed the podium for McLaren after starting seventh. Ferrari's two cars ahead of him turned the sharp end of the classification into a direct team-table move.

Thirteen points become 69 in one meeting

Ferrari entered Round 2 fourth in D1 on 13 points. Its 56-point Imola return lifted the total to 69 and moved the team three positions to first.

Red Bull added 26 and remained second on 67. The resulting two-point margin was small; the 43-point swing in Ferrari's relative score was not.

The drivers arrive at 32-32

Piastrigoat and Wadz also occupied the first two places in the D1 drivers' standings, level on 32 points with piastrigoat listed first. Ferrari therefore left Imola controlling both supplied D1 tables by order rather than comfort.

Canada was next. Ferrari had transformed its D1 season in one classification; keeping first place would require proving the one-two was more than a highly efficient afternoon.
