IMS begins Season 2 at Silverstone with an 11-round F1 24 calendar, three returning D-division championships and E1 joining the opening programme. Japan waits at the other end of a schedule three events longer than the inaugural campaign.

TheMekanic17 returns after finishing Season 1 as D1 champion on 150 points. Ranga20063239 carries the D2 title after a 22-point final margin, while zoolander83 begins as D3 champion following a one-point finale against RobbySimps44.

A calendar built to keep changing the question

Silverstone, Imola and Canada lead into a four-track Mystery Race before Portugal. Texas then introduces E2, with Jeddah and Baku preceding a second Mystery Race across Monaco, Qatar and Brazil; Australia and Japan complete the route.

That midpoint expansion matters. D1, D2, D3 and E1 score from the opener; E2 begins at Round 6, turning Texas into both a championship race and the start of an entirely new standings table.

Two defending champions also lead teams

TheMekanic opens as Red Bull Team Principal as well as defending D1 champion. Zoolander does the same at Ferrari while carrying the D3 crown. Their titles are personal; their new responsibilities make every division relevant to the teams attached to them.

Silverstone must now answer more than who wins first. It will establish four championship leaders, test a ten-team leadership grid and begin the long approach to an E2 debut still five rounds away. Season 1 created the reference points; Season 2 finally gives IMS something to defend, compare and overturn.
