LKR Gerardo6 won Season 3's opening D1 race in Singapore from P5, gaining four positions for a first IMS victory. Piastrigoat finished second from pole and TheMekanic17 third from P2.
The 30-point result placed Gerardo first in the initial D1 standings, five ahead of piastrigoat on 25. TheMekanic17's 21 completed an opening top three separated by nine points.
P5 moves forward while the front row moves back
Gerardo was the only driver on the podium to gain positions: four places forward, against a one-place loss for each of the front-row starters. The official classification records the reversal without supplying an invented sequence of passes.
The final gap from Gerardo to piastrigoat was 3.742 seconds, with TheMekanic17 another 1.611 behind. Singapore therefore paired the grid change with a compact three-car result rather than a runaway opener.
An opener gives position, not permanence
One round could establish only the first state of the contest: Gerardo 30, piastrigoat 25, TheMekanic17 21. It could not make that order durable, but it gave every later D1 movement a precise starting point.
For Singapore itself, the achievement needs no future embellishment. A P5 start became victory, a first IMS win and the five-point lead with which Season 3 D1 left its opening event.
