TheIceman729 won Qatar’s E2 race from P3, gaining two positions for Alpine. Cliq finished second from pole and emerged with the championship lead after Round 2.
Cliq’s 25 points lifted the Red Bull driver four places in the standings to first on 41. Quenooo29, third in Qatar from P2, also gained four championship positions and sat second on 32.
P3 wins; P1 takes the table
The podium order did not mirror the grid. TheIceman gained two places, while Cliq and quenooo each slipped one. The cumulative standings then supplied a second rearrangement, elevating the latter pair to first and second overall.
Red Bull also retained the E2 constructors’ lead on 83 points. McLaren rose three places to second on 50, but the gap between the teams was already 33.
Three forms of movement in one result
The race had a winner coming forward, a pole-sitter taking the championship lead despite moving back, and a team contest whose leader did not change. Those are related facts, not interchangeable headlines.
After two rounds, the E2 picture was therefore legible without being settled: TheIceman owned Qatar, Cliq owned a nine-point drivers’ advantage, and Red Bull carried a 33-point team cushion.
