QwAsey reet and JPlanteX won in Mexico and tightened separate championship contests. QwAsey removed 16 points from Ranga20063239’s D2 advantage; JPlanteX took 10 out of quenooo29’s E2 lead.
QwAsey climbed from P4 to win D2 for VCARB. JPlanteX came from P6 to win E2 for Ferrari, so both attacks were built by drivers moving forward rather than protecting pole.
Six points in D2, 20 in E2
Ranga retained the D2 lead on 100 points, six ahead of PerfectPaulie88 on 94. Quenooo remained first in E2 on 97, with JPlanteX now second on 77.
The two swings were not identical. D2 was compressed to a single-digit gap even though qwAsey was not second in the table; E2 promoted the Mexico winner directly into the runner-up position.
Winning is the common verb, not the whole story
Mexico’s D2 and E2 winners both gained five or fewer grid places and 30 points, but their championship effects differed. One compressed the space around the leader; the other became the leader’s nearest named challenger.
The round therefore created a paired pressure point without pretending the divisions were the same race. Ranga left six clear in D2; quenooo left 20 clear in E2; both margins had just been cut by a winner.
