VCARB scored 200.5 BOTT points in Spain from ten starts, two wins and seven podiums. The total ranked seventh in IMS history through Season 4 Round 9.
Ferrari finished second for the round on 180 and McLaren third on 99.1. In the cumulative table Ferrari still led VCARB 1161-1104.2.
Seventh is only 3.5 points from sixth
Ferrari's 266-point Season 3 Mystery Race led the top ten, followed by VCARB's 213 at the same event and 212.7 at Imola. Spain sat seventh, 3.5 behind VCARB's 204-point Season 2 Brazil round.
The current score also stood 2.5 points above Ferrari's 198-point Season 3 Mexico result. Those neighbours show the 200.5 total in context instead of asking a bare ordinal to carry the argument.
A record-table round tightens BOTT
VCARB outscored Ferrari by 20.5 in Spain and reduced the season gap to 56.8. The historical rank mattered twice: as an archive position and as the mechanism of a live championship contraction.
China came next with VCARB still second but carrying the strongest single-round answer it had produced since Imola. Three events remained to turn that answer into a chase.
