HackoDK claimed a first IMS victory in Abu Dhabi E2 from 17th on the grid, while Rizla’s recovery from P12 to third secured the Season 5 drivers’ championship with one round remaining.
Rizla reached 196 points, 51 ahead of BBLDRiZZY6523. Only 32 remained available at Spa, giving the Mercedes driver a 19-point clearance over the nearest rival’s maximum possible total.
Sixteen places win the race
Hacko supplied the largest movement at the front, climbing 16 positions to beat gennaro1173, who gained two from P4. Rizla’s nine-place recovery completed the podium and supplied the championship result.
The win completed a six-start opening chapter spent entirely with Kick Sauber. Hacko reached the flag with two podiums, one fastest lap and 104 points across E2 and D2; the previous five starts had supplied promise, but not first place.
Third place closes the title
A podium was more than sufficient because the advantage already carried most of the weight. Spa could compress 51 points, but only by 32 at most.
Abu Dhabi gave E2 both kinds of headline at once: the race’s longest charge and the season’s final answer.
