Three forward moves fill the podium
Legham's five-place win supplied the maximum finish from the deepest starting spot among the top two. Tofo matched the five-place gain to reach third, while Kaтю́shа's runner-up score moved the Williams driver into final second.
Aban's title route had already absorbed the season's volatility. First from Round 4 through Brazil, second after Las Vegas, then first again after the P17-to-P1 Qatar victory, Aban arrived at Spa with the restored lead intact.
