HPJones converted D2 pole into victory in Abu Dhabi to reach five IMS wins.

Kaтю́shа Snowstorm recovered from P11 to second for Haas, with jhazztan moving from P5 to third for Aston Martin.

The milestone is controlled from pole

HPJones needed no grid recovery to secure the fifth win. The movement came behind: Kaтю́shа gained nine places and jhazztan two.

In E2, HPJones then advanced from P3 to finish second behind MagMagnussen. Rizla completed that podium from P4.

First in D2, support in E2

The two results place HPJones at opposite ends of McLaren's front-line work: converting the team's pole into a win, then adding a runner-up finish behind another team's winner.

Abu Dhabi makes the fifth victory part of a broader return rather than an isolated statistic—two podiums across two divisions and 195 BOTT points for McLaren.
