Sammy278 won the Spain D1 race from sixth on the grid, gaining five places to put Ferrari first at the flag.

Tratracer23 climbed from P9 to second for Aston Martin. Pole-sitter Triske043 completed the podium for VCARB in third.

The winner comes from the third row

Sammy's five-place gain decided the race, while Tratracer23 covered seven positions to finish one place behind. The two largest recoveries occupied the first two steps.

Meowsy remains the D1 championship leader on 61 points, ten ahead of Jonno on 51. Neither appears on the Spain podium.

Race momentum and championship control split

Ferrari gains the immediate result through Sammy; VCARB retains the cumulative position through Meowsy. Spain moves the race-winning spotlight without moving first place in D1.

The next round begins with an unusual top line: a ten-point leader absent from the latest podium and a new winner who started outside the first five.
