Williams scored a round-high 156 BOTT points in Qatar, using two wins, four podiums and seven top-five finishes across ten starts.

The result lifted Williams to 1,007 season points. Ferrari moved into second on 648 and Aston Martin sat third on 615, leaving the leader 359 points clear.

Ferrari matches the wins, not the total

Ferrari also collected two wins and four podiums, but scored 135 points from nine starts. Williams' seven top-five finishes against Ferrari's five helped produce the 21-point round difference.

Aston Martin ranked third for the round on 74, 82 behind Williams. The weekend table therefore separated the leader from both the nearest scorer and the season's third-placed team by very different distances.

Four figures alter the scale

Williams was the first of the top three to cross 1,000 points, reaching 1,007 while Ferrari held 648 and Aston Martin 615. The milestone mattered because the comparison sat beside it, not because four digits are inherently dramatic.

Qatar's BOTT headline is not simply that Williams won another round. It is that the team crossed four figures while its nearest season rival remained below 650—a gap large enough to be the story, not merely a footnote.
