PRT Gignac09 climbed from 18th on the Las Vegas D3 grid to finish sixth, a gain of 12 places. Through Season 1 Round 4, that movement ranked joint third in IMS history.
The D3 podium belonged to Lurrrks, zoolander83 and Vendettasees. Gignac finished three positions beyond it, so the historical claim concerns ground recovered, not a podium the Ferrari driver did not earn.
Two drivers share 13; two more share 12
MSRT MagHeXC and jakebandy8 occupied the first two rows of the comparison with 13-place gains. Gignac and IkonicKiyan7 followed on 12, while GMDD VINKE95 completed the five-row view on 10.
The tie matters. Gignac did not stand alone as IMS's third-biggest mover; he joined Ikonic on the same historical value, one position shy of the record pair.
Ferrari's depth reaches beyond its two podiums
Ferrari scored 60 BOTT points from six starts, with two podiums and three top-five finishes. Gignac's P6 sat outside those countback markers but added another substantial climb to the team's Las Vegas ledger.
Silverstone offered the next chance to turn movement into a higher finish. Las Vegas had already fixed Gignac's place in the early record book — precisely third, jointly held, and fully visible.
