MakeSumUP climbed from 20th to sixth in Texas D3, gaining 14 places to share the third-largest recovery in IMS history through Season 2 Round 6. The charge finished three positions outside the podium.
Her Wet Cat won from second, NesbiLeGrand moved from fifth to second and jak75421 held third from third. MakeSumUP's movement was greater than any podium finisher's, but the starting deficit left sixth as the final reward.
Duxnuts keeps the 17-place record
Duxnuts69's 17-place Canada victory led the historical list, with SideFx99 second on 15 places. MakeSumUP and Thalo4 shared third on 14, followed by MSRT MagHeXC's 13-place Brazil recovery.
The comparison also separates recovery scale from finishing status. Duxnuts and Thalo won, whereas SideFx finished fifth, MakeSumUP sixth and MagHeXC seventh.
The D3 title leader wins ahead
Her Wet Cat's victory moved the Ferrari driver to 136 points, 19 ahead of NesbiLeGrand on 117. MakeSumUP's historical gain unfolded behind the two drivers who left Texas heading the championship.
Jeddah came next with the recovery record unchanged. MakeSumUP had nevertheless turned the last grid position into a top-six finish and a permanent place in the early IMS comparison.
