CtxVincent and jak75421 each claimed a first IMS podium with third place in Texas. CtxVincent started second in E1 for Ferrari; jak began fourth in the inaugural E2 classification and finished third for VCARB.
The matching finish positions came from opposite movements. CtxVincent lost one place as Tedoi6974 won from 13th and MilitaryMaple18 took second; jak gained one behind quenooo29 and Murts9691.
One podium enters an established race, one opens a division
E1 already carried a five-round championship into Texas. E2 began there, making jak's third place part of the division's first official top three while ctxVincent joined an existing E1 order.
The results also fed different team totals. Ferrari scored 155 points with three podiums; VCARB reached 115 with four, tying the strongest podium count yet recorded in an IMS team round.
Third place means 20 points twice
Each third place carried 20 points. Together the two breakthrough results added 40 points to the round without requiring the same race, team or grid position to tell the story twice.
Jeddah followed with ctxVincent now an E1 podium finisher and jak carrying the same status from E2's first night. Texas linked the milestones by finishing place; everything underneath them was distinct.
