Tedoi6974 won Texas E1 from 13th on the grid to claim a first IMS victory for Red Bull. MilitaryMaple18 reached second from ninth and ctxVincent finished third from second.
Twelve positions separated Tedoi's grid slot from the win. The podium's other recovery began four places further forward, making the winner's route both the deepest start and the highest finish in the top three.
Tedoi becomes the listed title challenger
Darth Ussh retained the E1 standings lead on 151 points, but Tedoi moved into second on 130. The gap stood at 21 after the Red Bull driver's 32-point win.
Ferrari also remained first in the E1 constructors' table on 261 points, 21 ahead of Red Bull on 240. Texas therefore placed the same numerical gap between the leading driver pair and the leading team pair.
One of three Red Bull victories
TheMekanic17 won D1 and RoydeBoy1564 took D2 before Tedoi supplied Red Bull's third victory of the round. The team led the BOTT table with 164 points, nine clear of Ferrari.
Jeddah came next with Tedoi no longer merely reducing Ussh's advantage. The Texas victory had moved him into the named second-place role and put a 21-point figure on the chase.
