Deathlink10 won China's E2 race from P2 and claimed a first IMS victory for Kick Sauber. Tedoi6974 climbed from P6 to second and NesbiLeGrand from P8 to third.
JPlanteX remained the championship leader on 164 points, 36 ahead of Tedoi6974. Ferrari led VCARB by 29 in the constructors' standings.
Round 10 still finds a new winner
The late place on the calendar gives Deathlink10's breakthrough its distinction. E2 had developed a clear championship leader, yet China still produced a driver reaching P1 for the first time.
The podium behind the winner came from deeper starts: Tedoi6974 gained four positions and NesbiLeGrand five. Deathlink's one-place move delivered the finishing position both chasers missed.
A breakthrough beneath two Ferrari leads
Ferrari still controlled the driver and team tables through JPlanteX and its accumulated constructor score. Kick Sauber owned the race, a clean reminder that championship order does not monopolise individual weekends.
Silverstone-R came next with two rounds remaining. Deathlink10 travelled there as China's winner; JPlanteX travelled there with the larger season claim still intact.
