JDJT3593 won the Japan D3 race from sixth on the grid, taking a first IMS victory since Season 4 Round 11.
NesbiLeGrand recovered from P10 to second for Ferrari, while pole-sitter Babba finished third for Mercedes.
Five places end the wait
JDJT gained five grid positions to win. Nesbi travelled farther—eight places—but finished one position behind, while Babba lost two from pole.
Jak75421 remains first in the D3 standings on 197 points, 51 ahead of ContexRL on 146. Neither appears on the Japan podium.
The return win sits beneath an unchanged title order
JDJT owns the milestone result, but the championship stays with an absent leader and runner-up. Japan changes who won most recently, not who occupies the listed top two.
The race still matters on its own terms: a P6 winner ends a wait since Season 4 and defeats a P10 recovery plus the car that started first.
