McLaren collected five podiums in Japan, the tenth-ranked team-round podium haul in IMS history through Season 6 Round 10.
The team scored 161 points from 12 starts, combining two wins with those five podiums and seven top-five finishes.
The complete top ten shows the tie structure
Ferrari's eight-podium Season 5 Monza round leads the table. Three seven-podium weekends follow, then five six-podium entries before McLaren's five in Japan.
The ranking is ordinal rather than a claim that five podiums stand alone. McLaren occupies row ten because every higher row contains between six and eight podium finishes.
Two wins convert the podium depth
Cloud and HPJones supplied McLaren's victories in D1 and D2. Three additional podiums turned those wins into the second-highest team score of the Japan round.
The full table keeps the historical claim honest; the 161 points keep it relevant to Japan. McLaren's weekend was deep enough to enter the retained top ten and strong enough to finish second on the day.
