The milestone arrives without grid recovery
Elias held first from pole while both cars behind advanced. The first victory came through conversion rather than a charge from deeper in the field.
NesbiLeGrand remains first in E3 on 213 points, 26 ahead of Elias on 187. The winner closes the gap without taking the lead.
A first win enters the title equation
The 26-point deficit is smaller than a standard 30-point victory. Elias has therefore moved from first-time winner to a challenger within one ordinary maximum result.
Abu Dhabi gives E3 a clean pressure point: Nesbi retains first place, but the driver directly behind has just converted pole and removed part of the cushion.
