II M4IK II climbed from fifth on the Canadian D1 grid to finish third, claiming a first IMS podium for Haas. Elias6077 won from pole and piastrigoat held second.
The two-place gain carried 28 points. It was smaller than the recoveries occupying other divisions, but it crossed the line that mattered to this story: fifth became a podium.
Twenty-eight points carry nearly half the Haas round
Haas scored 62 BOTT points from seven starts, with one podium and two top-five finishes. M4IK supplied the podium and 45 per cent of the total.
Ferrari led the round on 154 points and Aston Martin followed on 117. Haas sat outside the top three, making its D1 podium a concentrated success rather than evidence of weekend-wide control.
Piastrigoat keeps a 27-point lead
Piastrigoat's second place raised him to 67 points, 27 ahead of race winner Elias on 40. M4IK's first podium joined a D1 result that strengthened the existing leader without denying the new winner.
Hungary followed. M4IK left Canada with the specific gain Haas needed: two grid positions, 28 points and a first podium that did not require anybody else's headline.
