Ferrari had entered the round on 38 points to McLaren's 32. Jeddah therefore produced a 28-point swing in the top-two totals, replacing a six-point deficit with a 22-point McLaren advantage.
Quenooo reaches 63 points
Quenooo entered Jeddah on 32 points and added 31 with victory. The result put the McLaren driver on 63, 29 ahead of ctxVincent.
MilitaryMaple18 finished second for Red Bull and ctxVincent third for Ferrari. McLaren did not need a second podium finisher to take the team lead; its winner and supporting points were enough.
One division drives McLaren's team round
McLaren scored 114 BOTT points in Jeddah, with one win and two podiums. Quenooo supplied the victory, while VeRse LGR's D2 second place provided the other top-three result.
Baku followed with McLaren holding both E2 leads: quenooo by 29 points among the drivers and the team by 22. Two rounds had already produced an opening order and its first reversal.
