BULLDOGGER47 won Miami D1 from P5 for a first IMS victory. Pole-sitter piastrigoat finished second for Ferrari and championship leader TheMekanic17 third from P2 for Red Bull.
The winner's four-place gain was the only forward movement on the podium. Piastrigoat and TheMekanic17 each lost one grid position, while 20 points extended TheMekanic17's D1 lead to 43.
P5 interrupts the front-row order
BULLDOGGER47 finished 6.949 seconds ahead of piastrigoat. TheMekanic17 took third another 11.162 seconds back, leaving the race winner clear of two drivers already embedded in the D1 standings picture.
The classification cannot supply the pass sequence behind P5-to-P1, but it shows why the result altered the established order: neither member of the front row retained his starting place, and the new winner began behind both.
The breakthrough leaves the leader stronger
TheMekanic17's third place raised his total from 126 to 146. Rochamoya scored no points and remained on 103, so the championship margin expanded from 23 to 43 even though the leader did not win.
Miami split its rewards cleanly. BULLDOGGER47 owned the breakthrough and the race; TheMekanic17 left with the larger championship cushion. Neither outcome needs to be borrowed to make the other matter.
