LKR Gerardo6 and Meowsy combined for 68 D1 points at Monza, the second-highest driver-pair score in IMS history through Season 3 Round 8. Gerardo won from P3 and Meowsy finished second from pole.
The one-two moved Mercedes into the D1 constructors’ lead on 289 points, 14 ahead of Red Bull. A historical pair score therefore produced an immediate championship change.
Only the Mystery Race’s 75-point pair sits above
Wadz51 and Darth Ussh lead the comparison with 75 E1 points at the Mystery Race. Gerardo and Meowsy follow on 68, ahead of Ferrari’s 64-point Canada pair and two 63-point combinations.
Monza’s pair is the highest D1 entry among those five. Its 35-and-33 split also shows the balance: only two points separated the Mercedes drivers’ contribution.
One-two arithmetic becomes championship position
Red Bull had led D1 after the Mystery Race. Mercedes answered with 68 points from its leading pair at Monza, against a 28-point Red Bull round, and reversed the order.
Second all-time is not a decorative label here. The five-row table locates the score; the one-two explains it; the 14-point championship lead shows what those 68 points changed.
