Monza settled the Season 3 D1 and D3 drivers’ championships one round before Las Vegas. TheMekanic17 climbed from P9 to third in D1 and reached 202 points; uijyl remained on 167 after missing D3, but still emerged as champion.
The two crowns arrived through opposite forms of security. TheMekanic’s 62-point advantage exceeded the 42 left in the finale by 20. Uijyl’s lead over JPThaJoker was 43—only one point more than Vegas could offer, but one was enough.
A podium seals D1
LKR Gerardo6 won D1 from third and Meowsy finished second from pole. TheMekanic supplied the championship consequence by gaining six places to third, putting piastrigoat’s maximum possible final total out of reach.
JPThaJoker made the D3 margin uncomfortable without making it reversible. The P11-to-P3 recovery removed 27 points from uijyl’s advantage and moved the VCARB driver into second overall.
Forty-three beats forty-two
Uijyl’s absent score froze the total at 167. JPThaJoker reached 124, leaving a 43-point difference with 42 remaining. The pursuit had produced drama, a podium and a new runner-up; it had not preserved a title fight.
Vegas would host two champions rather than crown them. Monza’s arithmetic had already done the less glamorous, more permanent work.
