DonutGorilla12 started seventh and finished second in Silverstone-R's D3 race, earning a first IMS podium for Mercedes. JDJT3593 won from P3 and jak75421 finished third from P4.
JDJT moved to 190 points, 45 ahead of JarvisInitiate. VCARB led Williams by 11 in the constructors' standings before the final round.
Five places to a new career line
Donut's P7-to-P2 gain exceeded the movement of the drivers either side. JDJT gained two positions to win; jak gained one to finish third. The runner-up owned the podium's longest route.
The result arrived late enough to avoid being treated as a forecast. It was already complete on its own terms: five places gained, second place secured and a first IMS podium recorded.
Brazil receives a new podium finisher
The finale would begin with JDJT in a strong drivers' position and VCARB only 11 ahead among constructors. Donut's breakthrough added a Mercedes subject to that final-round D3 field.
Silverstone-R therefore delivered more than the leader's win. The classification also carried a driver from the fourth row to a first career top three.
