HPJones and BBLDRiZZY6523 finished second and third for VCARB in Imola's E2 race, rising from P4 and P6. JPlanteX won from pole for Ferrari.

Ferrari led the constructors' standings on 215 points after the race, but VCARB remained within nine on 206. The double podium limited the cost of missing P1.

Five places gained behind one pole conversion

HPJones gained two positions and BBLDRiZZY6523 gained three. Combined, the VCARB pair travelled five places while JPlanteX preserved the front of the grid and the finish.

The driver title was less contained: JPlanteX led by 37. VCARB's strength sat in the collective response, keeping the team championship much closer than the individual one.

Nine points keeps the constructor question open

Imola was a Ferrari victory and a VCARB damage-limitation result. Calling it only one or the other would discard the useful contrast between the race winner and the two-car scoring response.

Canada followed with the E2 team fight still inside ten points. The driver chase had work to do; the constructor chase required only a small swing.
