JPlanteX converted E2 pole into victory in Baku and took the championship lead on 101 points. Tedoi6974 followed on 78, leaving the new advantage at 23.
HPJones finished second from P2 and RyeHZ3 climbed from P9 to third. Ferrari also moved to 166 points in the constructors' standings, 13 ahead of VCARB.
One hundred and one changes the order
The championship-lead claim is larger than the race result alone. Baku left JPlanteX not merely first on Sunday but first across six rounds, with more than one race-win score separating the leading totals.
RyeHZ3's six-place recovery gave the podium a second thread, but it did not alter the leading arithmetic. JPlanteX owned P1 on the grid, P1 at the finish and P1 in the standings.
Ferrari aligns both E2 tables
Ferrari's 13-point constructors' lead was smaller than JPlanteX's 23-point driver cushion, but Baku placed the same badge first in each table. That alignment supplied the team's most complete E2 position of the season so far.
Imola was next. The chase no longer asked who led E2; it asked whether Tedoi6974 or VCARB could immediately reduce two newly established Ferrari advantages.
