Raptorr won Abu Dhabi E1 from second for McLaren, claiming a first IMS victory. Wide Vader climbed from tenth to second for Kick Sauber, with Sintium third from P3.

The winner gained the decisive single place; the runner-up gained eight. The podium carried a breakthrough at the front and the race's defining recovery immediately behind.

Two routes, two different rewards

Raptorr's P2-to-P1 move wrote the career milestone. Wide Vader's P10-to-P2 climb made the classification unusual and prevented the story becoming a simple front-row conversion.

Sintium's P3 protected a 27-point championship lead over Triske043. The leader reached the podium even while two other drivers owned the race's biggest achievements.

The podium serves three stories

A first win, an eight-place recovery and title protection belonged to three different drivers. Abu Dhabi E1 was richer for keeping those distinctions intact.

Spa would begin with Raptorr as the latest winner, Wide Vader carrying a major recovery and Sintium still in command of the table.
