BULLDOGGER47 climbed from tenth on the Silverstone D1 grid to finish third, taking a first IMS podium for Kick Sauber. Thalo4 won and King Pigeon5160 finished second.

BULLDOGGER gained seven positions; among the podium finishers, only Thalo's 14-place victory covered more ground. The comparison does not require third place to pretend it was first.

Twenty points join a 117-point Kick Sauber round

Kick Sauber ranked second in the BOTT table with 117 points from eight starts, one win, three podiums and five top-five finishes. BULLDOGGER supplied one podium and 20 points.

Ferrari led the round on 142, 25 ahead, while VCARB sat third on 89. Kick Sauber's strength was not a single D1 result but the breadth into which BULLDOGGER's recovery fitted.

The podium starts a 20-point championship account

Thalo and King Pigeon occupied the supplied top two of the opening D1 standings. BULLDOGGER's 20 points placed his first podium immediately beneath that lead pair in the race classification.

Imola was next. Silverstone had already given BULLDOGGER a useful baseline: ten places on the grid need not remain ten places from relevance.
