Thalo4 beat King Pigeon5160 by 1.161 seconds in Silverstone D1, the second-closest IMS finish through Season 2 Round 1. The winner had started 15th; the runner-up started second.
BULLDOGGER47 completed the podium from tenth. Silverstone's top three therefore combined a close fight at the front with two recoveries from outside the first five grid positions.
Only 0.438 seconds sits below the Silverstone margin
The comparison was led by TheMekanic17's 0.438-second Abu Dhabi win over SleekMover. Thalo and King Pigeon occupied row two on 1.161, followed by Jake/Ranga at 1.610, Ranga/Ricardo at 2.059 and Yvngeze/Ranga at 2.088.
The table proves scale without pretending the races were alike. Silverstone's place in it comes from the measured winner-to-runner-up gap, not an invented account of how those 1.161 seconds were won.
Thirty points establish the first D1 lead
Thalo's victory placed him first in the D1 standings on 30 points, six ahead of King Pigeon. VCARB also led Red Bull by three in the constructors' table.
Imola followed with 1.161 seconds installed as the number to beat for second on the close-finish list. Thalo had taken the larger prizes too, but this one came with five rows of receipts.
